Vermont Impressionism

Robert Sydorowich paints the Vermont countryside, where he has lived for over forty years, He works in oil and in the transparent watercolor media style “Trying to capture the simple small town life in and around Andover, Vermont the town where he lives“. Reminiscent of the impressionist movement, Sydorowich’s work portrays,“ real places, real people, real life situations.” He studied art and architecture at Pratt Institute and The New School for Social Research in New York City.An award winning artist Robert’s work is represented in collections throughout the United States and abroad.

Paul Myers acrylic paintings of local scenes - Weston waterfall, Lowell Lake, Hamilton Falls, West River, Landgrove and Mad Tom Roads, Peru barn and Manchester Valley. Paul Edwards Myers earned degrees from St. Lawrence, Syracuse and Michigan and taught geology at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Since retirement he has worked as a home energy consultant and continued his passion, painting and sketching local landscapes and portraits. His geological training and experience give him a particular perspective transcending the present.

Small oil paintings by Windham artist Nancy Tips. The paintings in the exhibit reflect Nancy’s longstanding connection to the Philadelphia school of contemporary realism whose traditions, techniques and vision provide the grounding for her work.
