The Londonderry Planning Commission will hold a
public hearing at 7:00 PM on Monday February 13, 2012 at the
Town Offices on School Street, South Londonderry, to take
comment on the Londonderry Town Plan – Draft for Re-Adoption, dated
January 10, 2012.
Per Vermont Planning Statute Title 24 Chapter 117 SS 4384 and SS 4487,
the Planning Commission has completed comprehensive review of the information
upon which the Londonderry Town Plan is based and evaluated its ongoing
applicability.
With technical assistance from the Windham Regional Commission and
general public participation, the Planning Commission has determined
the Londonderry Town Plan, as updated, to be consistent with the goals
established in Section 4302 of Title 24 VSA.
The proposed Draft for Re-adoption contains updates of Actions
in each Element of the 2005 Town Plan and the most current available
statistical data for the Town of Londonderry. The proposed Draft contains
no updates that would alter the designation of any land area to cause
any probable impacts to the Town, its land or citizens.
A copy of the Draft for Re-Adoption may be obtained at the Town Office
during regular business hours or viewed on the Town’s website here.
